1. GENERAL WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS



Installation and setting of the R01 adjustment plate, must be performed by an ATK RACE® AUTHORIZED DEALER®,

equipped with the ORIGINAL DRILLING JIG developed for the installation of this accessory ( COD. R01). Self-made

installation is not recommended: in that case, download and print the drilling template of the accessory directly at

the accessory webpage and follow all the attached instructions and recommendations.



In the case of self-made setting of the heel part on the adjustment plate, it is very important to follow the

instructions listed below.



An excessive tightening torque of the screws, may cause a locking of the same, and future difficulties in removing

them from their seats.



For all the setting operations we recommend to use the original ATK RACE® screwdriver (COD. SD01), equipped with

the original insert TX 20 (TORX 20), and to check with dynamometric wrench the proper and effective tightening

torque of the screws.



Before setting the heel part on the adjustment plate, verify the absence of debris, dirt or ice inside the footprint of

the screws: if present, clean the footprint before any further operation, in order to avoid any damage to the screws.

2. HOW TO SET THE HEEL PART POSITIONING ON THE ADJUSTMENT PLATE



Slightly loosen ( ca. 1 turn ) the 4 clamping screws of the heel part on the adjustment plate.



Translate the heel part to the bottom of the adjustment range toward the ski-tail.



Hang the boot to the toe part of the binding.



Lower the heel of the boot and insert the coupling pins of the heel part into the back insert of the boot (by shifting

forward the heel part) and interpose the 4 mm plastic spacer between the heel part and the heel of the boot as

shown below, deleting each light between the boot and the heel part.



Keeping the heel part in the reached position without forcing, tighten gently the two rear clamping screws; then

remove the spacer and release the boot from the toe part.



Tighten now the 4 clamping screws of the heel to the torque of 5 N / m.



Reinstall the boot, even hooking the heel part, and verify that the distance between the lower rear insert of the boot

and the heel part is just the section of the thickness gauge.
