The hood is not working:

1 Check that the fan speed is set high

enough for the task.

2 The grease filters are clean.

3 The kitchen is adequately vented to allow

the entry of fresh air.

4 If set up for recirculation, check that the

charcoal filter is still effective.

5 If set up for extraction, check that the

ducting and outlets are not blocked.

The hood has switched off during operation:

1 The hood's safety cut-out device has

been tripped. Contact Electrolux Customer

Service on 0800 222 825.

2 If the hood has been installed below the

heights indicated in the installation

instructions, the motor will cut-out.

Should the above mentioned checks not

solve the problem, please contact your

nearest Authorised Electrolux Service Centre

for advice. Quote the model and serial

number of the hood. Note that it will be

necessary to provide proof of purchase for

any warranty service calls. Warranty

customers should make sure that the above

checks have been carried out as the service

agent will charge if the fault is not a

mechanical or electrical breakdown.
