Cancel Function:
Defrost Function: first defrosts frozen bread then toasts
1. Plug power cord into a 120V AC wall outlet.
2. Select the degree of browning by sliding the Browning Control.
• Light browning select position 1, 2 or 3
• Medium browning select position 4 or 5
• Dark browning select position 6 or 7
3. NOTE: IF THE TOASTER IS NOT PLUGGED IN, THE CARRIAGE
CONTROL LEVER WILL NOT LOCK.
Toasting (both sides)
1. Place one or two slices of bread into bread slot. The bread guides will
adjust automatically to hold thin pieces of bread.
2. Select the level of browning.
3. Push the Carriage Control Lever down until it locks. The red Cancel light
will come on indicating that the toaster is in the toast cycle.
4. When the toasting cycle is complete the Carriage Control Lever will pop-up
automatically. If you wish to raise the Carriage Control Lever before the
end of the toasting cycle, press the Cancel button.
5. Once the heating elements have shut off, the Carriage Control Lever can
be lifted up manually for extra lift. Small pieces of bread can then be
safely removed.
