Proper use
•
The products serve as a light source and are suitable for use
as an indoor decoration.
•
The products are not suitable for outdoor use.
•
The products are intended for private and not for commercial
use.

Only use the products as described in the instructions. Any
other use is deemed improper.
•
Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts
at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to
normal wear and tear.
Safety notes

WARNING – Risk of suffocation! Children and animals must
be kept away from the packaging material.
■
The products are not a toy! Do not leave children and animals
unattended with the products!
■
WARNING – Risk of chemical burn by battery acid!
Batteries may be life threatening if swallowed. Therefore, store
the batteries and product out of reach of children and animals.
If a battery has been swallowed, you must seek immediate
medical attention.

CAUTION – Risk of chemical burn by battery acid! If a
battery has leaked, do not let battery acid come into contact
with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If applicable, wear
protective gloves. In the event of contact with the battery acid,
rinse the affected areas immediately with plenty of clean water
and consult a physician as soon as possible.

Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts on
the products and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if
necessary.

Only use the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
■
Always replace all batteries. Do not use different battery types,
brands or batteries of different capacitances. When replacing
the batteries, make sure that the polarity (+ / –) is correct.

Remove the batteries if they are empty or if you are not using
the products for an extended period. This way, you can avoid
damage caused by leaking.

Immediately remove a leaking battery and clean the contacts
before inserting new batteries.
■
Batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by any other
means, taken apart, thrown on a fi re, immersed in liquids or
short-circuited.
■
Install the products in a secure area on a dry base at a suffi cient
distance to heat sources such as e.g. ovens and heaters.
■
Never submerge the products in water or other liquids!
■
Never touch the products with wet or damp hands.
■
Protect the products against heat, open fl ames, direct sunlight,
minus temperatures, prolonged exposure to moisture, wetness
and percussions.
■
The products must not be used if they exhibit visible damages.
■
The individual LEDs cannot be replaced.
■
Do not in any case use any strong or corrosive cleaners or
rough sponges. They could damage the surfaces.
