Intended Use

This device is intended to be used for fi ling, smoothing
and polishing fi ngernails and toenails. Do not use it on
any other part of the body or on skin.
•
The device is designed for personal use only and is not
intended for commercial applications.
•
The device should only be used as described in these
instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
•
The following are excluded from the warranty: all de-
fects caused by improper handling, damage or unau-
thorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal
wear and tear.
Safety Instructions
WARNING – Danger of Injury!

Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! Batteries can be
deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and the device out
of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is swal-
lowed, seek medical assistance immediately.
■
Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! If a battery leaks,
avoid physical contact with the battery acid. Wear pro-
tective gloves if necessary. If you touch battery acid,
rinse the affected area with abundant fresh water im-
mediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.
■
This device should not be used by people (including
children) with impaired sensory or mental faculties or
who do not have adequate experience and/or knowl-
edge of such devices, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety, or have received in-
structions from such a person on how to use the device.
■
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the device.

Do not use the device if it is damaged. Before each use,
check whether the device is in good condition. If there
is any damage or wear or sharp edges, injuries could
occur.

Never work on one spot for longer than 2 to 3 seconds
and do not press the attachment forcibly against the
nail. This could be injured.
■
To prevent accidents, keep the device away from head
hair, eyelashes, eyebrows, textiles, cables and shoe
laces etc.
■
Make sure that the vibrating attachment of the device
only comes into contact with the nail. Do not touch it
with your fi ngers!
■
From time to time, check the area you are treating to
avoid penetrating your nail too deeply and causing in-
juries.

Use only original parts from the manufacturer.
■
Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, direct sun-
light, extreme temperatures, persistent moisture, wet
conditions and impact.
■
Do not allow the device to operate unattended. Switch
off the device and put on the protective cap when you
are not using it.
■
In the event of damage / faults, switch the device off
immediately.
■
Do not make any modifi cations to the device. Do not try
to repair it yourself or to replace any individual parts. In
the event of any damage, please contact our customer
service department.
■
Before inserting the battery, check whether the con-
tacts in the battery compartment and on the battery are
clean, and clean them if necessary.
■
Use only the battery type specifi ed in the "Technical
Data". Pay attention to the correct polarity (+ / –).
■
Take the battery out of the device when it is dead or if
you will not be using the device for a prolonged period.
This will prevent any damage that might occur if a bat-
tery leaks.
■
Remove a dead battery from the device immediately.
Clean the contacts before a new battery is inserted.
■
The battery must not be charged or reactivated in any
way, it must not be disassembled, thrown into a fi re, im-
mersed in liquids or short-circuited.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to
clean the device. These can damage the surface.
