Rechargeable Lamp
Caution
This appliance has to be charged for 24 hours
before using it for the first time. The lamp can be
charged continuously, i.e. the charging adaptor can
remain permanently in the mains socket and the
appliance in the wall bracket (B).
Mounting of the wall bracket (B)
Drill two holes 110 mm apart vertically where you wish to fix the wall
holder. We recommend that you fit the wall holder to the wall near a mains
socket checking that the holes to be drilled are well away from the mains
supply cable to the electrical socket. Fit the wall plugs into the holes,
position the wall holder against the wall, insert screws and screw up
tightly.
Charging the lamp
Before using the appliance for the first time, charge it for at least 24 hours
in the wall bracket (B). The charging unit (D) can remain in the mains
socket. This means that the lamp is constantly charged in the wall
bracket. The LED (G) indicates that the appliance is being charged. When
fully charged the lamp can provide its full power. For lamps with dimmers
(see table H) the operating time depends upon the position of the dimmer
switch during its use. (30-120 min).
Using the lamp
Before using the lamp take it out of the wall bracket (B). By turning the
dimmer (A) in the direction indicated, the lamp is switched on and lights
with its weakest beam. The more you turn the dimmer, the stronger the
beam becomes until it reaches it´s maximum power.
Focus
You can adjust the focus by turning the zoom grip (C).

s
The bulb can be replaced by removing the zoom grip (C). Simply depress
the two tabs (E) on either side of grip. The bulb (see table H) is now
exposed and can be replaced easily.

fixed to the two loops (F). The shoulder strap can be adjusted from 80 to

130 cm in length.

Some lamps (see table H) have a mains-failure detection option. This
means that the lamp will automatically switch on if it detects that there is a
mains failure, to provide a safety light. The lamp has to be mounted and
being charged in the wall holder (B) during the interruption.
