Slide the three damping pads (27) onto headlight mount (28)

and (29).

Connect connector (I) to instrument panel (1).

To fit instrument panel to headlight mount, insert pins into pads.

Refit headlight unit to frame and re-connect headlight wiring

to main wiring.

CHECKS

Operate the right indicator control and make sure the right

indicator comes on. Repeat for left indicator. Swap the

connections (faston connector to wiring plug) if operation is

inverted. To check bulbs.

Operate the parking light control and make sure that:

- the headlight comes on, and then check parking light, low and

high beams.

In case of problems, check headlight wiring connection or bulbs.

To check beam correct aiming:

Check the headlamp beam setting with the motorcycle perfectly

upright, with the tires inflated to the correct pressure and with a

rider seated. The vehicle shall be positioned 10 meters from a wall

or a screen. Draw a horizontal line corresponding to the height of

the headlight center and a

vertical line aligned with the longitudinal axis of the motorcycle.

Check beam setting in dim light. Switch on the low beam. The

height of the top edge of the light spot must not exceed nine

tenths of the height headlight center above the ground.

To adjust the height of the light beam, turn the adjusting knobs (1)

positioned on the left side of the headlight. Turn the knobs

clockwise to lower the light beam or counterclockwise to raise it.

Check that all screws and nuts are tightened properly.

If all checks have a positive outcome, refit headlight fairing and

side fairings.
