Step 2.
•
Make sure your posts are level vertically (use a spirit level).
•
Use a tape measure to check the distance of the top and bottom diagonals (4 diagonals in total).
•
Make sure they are all the same before continuing with installation.
•
If they are different, slightly move posts to make all diagonals equal (A=B on the top and on the bottom of
posts).
•
If you have bought Atlas Single Carport/Garage or optional wall panels for your Pergola, please
refer to the instructions provided at the end of this manual to find out how to install the panels.
•
You will need to fix these in place now.
•
If you have bought Atlas Single Garage, please refer to the instructions provided with garage door
wall pack to assemble door.
•
Measure diagonals to check for squareness. Check Posts and Beams to make sure they are plumb
and level !
•
Fix 70x70x55 Brackets to Posts using (4x) 35mm screws.
•
Secure the Pergola Posts to the ground using70x70x55 Brackets. (Fixings not supplied)
•
Fix (2x) 45x140x630.A Brace to each Post using (2x) M10x120
M10 x 120mm and M10 washer
