4. Setting up Data Transmission Speed

1) Select "Settings..." from the "Options" menu.

2) When the Settings window is opened, adjust the slider so that Sending MIDI Speed is lower than 742

bytes/s and click the OK button. The PC is now ready to send data.

CAUTION!

If the data transmission speed is too fast, the TRI AVATAR will freeze during the data writing process and

the ﬁrmware update will fail. In such a case, reboot the unit and lower the "Sending MIDI" Speed and try

data transmission again.

NOTE: User presets will not be lost even if the ﬁrmware update fails.
