SWITCH
•
To start the drill, press the switch trigger.
•
Release the switch trigger to turn the drill off.
Switch Lock
•
The switch trigger can be locked in the OFF position.
•
To lock the switch trigger, place the direction of rotation selector in the centre
position. This helps to reduce the possibility of accidental starting.
•
The direction of rotation is controlled by the "direction of rotation selector", located
above the switch trigger.
•
With the drill held in its normal operating position, the direction of rotation selector
should be positioned to the left of the switch for drilling.
•
The rotation direction is reversed when the selector is to the right of the switch.
When the selector is in the centre position, the switch trigger is locked.
Variable Speed
•
This tool has a variable speed switch that delivers higher speed and torque with
increased trigger pressure.
•
The speed is controlled by the amount of switch trigger depression.
SPEED SELECTOR
Note: Mark "1" is the low speed position, while mark "2" is the high
speed position on the "two speed selector" (right).
•
The drill has a two-speed gear train designed for drilling at
either low or high speed.
•
When you select low speed range, the speed will decrease
but will provide more power and torque.
•
When using the drill in high speed range, the speed will
increase, but provide less power and torque.
•
Use low speed for high power and torque application and high speed for fast
drilling applications.
IMPORTANT: Never adjust the two speed selector while the drill is running. Always
let it come to a complete stop first.
INSTALLING & REMOVING A BIT & A DRILL

•

is clamped tightly enough.
•
For removal, reverse the above sequence.
