THE GEAR MOTOR FOR SERIES 150 SHUTTERS HAS BEEN
DESIGNED TO BE APPLIED TO AXLES WITH DIFFERENT
DIAMETERS. IT IS THEREFORE SUFFICIENT, WHEN USING AN
AXLE LESS THAN 60 MM, TO INSERT THE RELATIVE ADDITIONAL
SLEEVE FOR REDUCTIONS FROM 42 OR 48 MM (FIG.1-A)
WHILE WITH SPRING BOXES WITH DIAMETERS OF OVER 200 MM
IT IS POSSIBLE TO INSERT EXPANDERS (FIG.1-B)
THE RANDY GEAR MOTOR HAS THE ADVANTAGE THAT IT CAN
BE FIXED WITHOUT REMOVING  T HE AXIS.
1  STAGE
USING  AN  ELECTRIC  DRILL  WITH  A  11  mm  BIT,  MAKE  THE
FOLLOWING HOLES (FIG.2)
A – Drill the axle 38 mm from the right of the centre, calculating
an inclination of some 20° downwards such as to be able to have
the limit switch box at the front (FIG.2a)
B – Make a hole some 350 mm left of the first one (if using the
brake make two holes next to each other).
C- In conclusion drill the last element of the shutter some 38 mm
to the left of hole a.
2nd Stage
Position the body of the motor in the axle after dismantling the
flanges and the completion sector. Insert the screw supplied  (TE
100x10) into hole A between the motor body and the axle inserting
and fully locking the completion sector in place. (FIG.3)
3rd Stage
Rest  the  half  flange  on  the  motor  body  until  adhering  perfectly
with  the  pinion,  join  the  other  half  and  tighten  the  coupling
screws.(FIG.4)
4th  Stage
Tighten up the pressure pin of the completion sector
5th STAGE
Remove the limit switch box cover and attach the power supply
cable to the mains passing it through hole B.. (FIG.5)
6th STAGE
Screw up and tighten the last element of the shutter to the motor
flange through hole C using the screw and washer supplied.
7th STAGE
After connecting any accessory commands (key controlled selector
switch, button pad, electronic control unit etc. ) you must adjust
the limit switch. With the shutter closed, position the switch A on
"DIS"  and  perform  a  complete  opening  and  closing  operation,
after which move the lever to "INS" and check proper operation
and  that  the  dipswitches  have  been  set  properly  with  a  second
manoeuvre . (FIG.6)  T o adjust the limit switch dipswitches by hand
just raise the locking wing nut turning the toothed wheel (FIG.7).
