Calculate the distance between the slits (d) on the diffraction grating
using the formula
λ = the wavelength of the Laser.

Sin
= (s/r) = the separation between the fringes on the screen (s) divided by the distance
from the optical slide to the wall (r).
Example from results using diffraction grating (N)
Wavelength of Laser = λ = 650 nm = 650 x 10
Measurement across 10 bright spot spacings (10 s) = 428 mm, so s = 42.8 mm = 42.8 x 10
Distance from slide to wall (r) = 1158 mm = 1158 x 10

