The system is initialised by pressing the „Down" button on the desk panel.
The button has to be kept pressed down until the drives have reached
the lower limit. As soon as all drives have stopped at the lower limit, the
„Down" button must be released for 2-3 seconds and then pressed again
for another 6 - 8 seconds. This completes initialisation. The system is
lowered 5 mm and then lifted again during initialisation. During this phase
the Down button should not be released.
If the button is released before the process is completed, then
initialisation is cancelled and has to be started again.
If initialisation is cancelled then the system cannot move up!
If a safety stop was set up in the configurator, then one has to keep in
mind that the system has to be moved first to the lower limit before one
can restart initialisation. In order to move beyond the safety stop, one has
to press the „Down" button a second time after reaching the safety stop to
get the system to move to the lower limit at a quarter of the drive speed.
The control has to be initialised again if there is a fault at the lower limits
or if the stroke length of the pillar is changed.
For the first two times, the system will retract automatically by 3 mm when
it is moved to the upper limit.
