SAFETY
Important Safety Instructions
General Instructions:
· Read these instructions.
· Keep these instructions.
· Follow all instructions and warnings.
WARNING: Medical Issues
· Restrict tactile sensation to the user's hands. Do not direct tactile
sensation toward the face, head, torso or any other parts of the
body. Do not direct tactile sensation toward any person other than
yourself. Be aware that placement/projections of tactile content
may occur even when the user is unaware that the apparatus is in
active mode ("On").
· If you have any medical condition, are pregnant or experience
symptoms that you believe could be affected by the apparatus, its
haptics or tactile sensations (including without limitation pain,
cramps, seizures, blackouts, or headaches), consult with your
physician prior to using the apparatus. Stop using the apparatus
immediately and consult a doctor if you experience any serious or
persistent symptoms.
WARNING: Power and Installation
· Place the apparatus on an open, flat and level surface such as a
table or bench in a well-ventilated, climate-controlled location.
· Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
· Confirm that your electrical outlet provides the type of power
required by the apparatus in terms of voltage [V] and frequency
[Hz]. If you are unsure of the type of power supplied to your
location, consult a qualified electrician.
· Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or
grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one
wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a
third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are
provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your
outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete
outlet.
· Do not plug multiple electric devices into the same wall socket
with the apparatus. Overloading a socket can cause it to overheat
and may result in a fire.
· Do not use non-standard power sources, such as generators or
inverters, even if the voltage and frequency appear acceptable.
Use only AC power provided by a standard wall outlet.
· Do not connect or disconnect any cables or perform installation,
maintenance, or reconfiguration of the apparatus during an
electrical storm.
