1. The Kamado Rocket Choice Advantages

What is a drip pan for?

A drip pan is used especially when cooking large portions of meat to prevent flame ups. Flame ups are

caused when drippings fall on the charcoal.

Can I cook different foods at the same time?

By all means. As long as you have room, you should have no problem cooking an entire meal at one

time.

Can I cook with the lid open?

Yes, you could if you really choose to, but you will lose all the cooking benefits of your Kamado

Rocket and end up with food that turns out dry.

Can I use starting/lighting fluid?

NO! You should never use either as it will be absorbed in to the body of your Kamado Rocket and have

a drastic effect on the taste of the food being cooked on your Kamado Rocket.

Do I need to clean the inside of my Kamado Rocket?

The only things that needs attention would be the cooking grates if they become soiled from previous

cooks or ash removal when needed.

My Kamado Rocket as tiny hairline cracks, what do I do?

They are perfectly normal and will have no effect on your Kamado Rocket performance. If large

chunks of the shell start to break off or come loose, contact Galaxy Outdoor immediately.

What is the purpose of the high temp gaskets?

The high temp gaskets help lock in the moisture on your food, retain heat, and allow the charcoal to be

suffocated and reused for the next cook.

Is it safe to use my Kamado Rocket in any weather?

That is what makes you Kamado Rocket so nice.... Once it is brought up to the desired temperature, the

Kamado Rocket is not adversely effected by ambient temperature like a stamped steel shell counterpart

would be.

Can I leave my Kamado Rocket outside in the rain and snow?

Yes, your Kamado Rocket was built to withstand the elements. However, the use of a Kamado Rocket

cover makes things a bit easier to maintain.
