Operation DCM Rotary Spreader MPR II PRO
PUSH THE CONTROL KNOB IN BEFORE FILLING

Before filling the hopper, become familiar with the operation of this spreader.

Read the data and information on the packaging before starting to spread. Also take a look at the RATE SETTING chart on page 15
Determine the proper dosing slide setting. Always turn the spreader OFF by pushing the control knob in before rotating the rate cam to
adjust the rate setting.

Always use the screen to avoid large impurities to get stuck in the spreader.

Before filling the hopper, check if the dosing slide is closed. Also make sure that the screen has been inserted into the hopper. FILL
THE HOPPER OFF THE LAWN AND COVER IT!

IMPORTANT ! Do not open the dosing slide before you start moving and close it before you stop moving in order to avoid spills and
lawn damage.

Hold the spreader as level as possible while spreading. Tipping the spreader too far can cause uneven spreading.

The rate setting chart on page 15 is a general information. If you want to have more certainty about the spread volume and width, it
can be useful to check the delivery rate and pattern on a small area. The actual delivery rate can vary due to weather conditions, such
as strong wind. The condition of the product being applied (moisture content) can also have an effect on the spread pattern, the spread
width and volume.

Be sure to maintain a constant speed. A constant walking speed will give an even spread width. A walking speed of 4 km per hour is
recommended (= a brisk walking speed). A slower or faster pace will change the spread pattern.

Divide the quantity to be applied preferably into 2 parts and follow the walking pattern as shown on page 16.

When you stop spreading or when you move the spreader to another location, it's important to close the dosing slide by pushing
the control knob into the OFF position.

Empty and clean the spreader after each use! Return leftover material to its original packaging.
