Removing the residues and stubborn
residues
Food containing sugar, plastics, or tin foil
residues should be removed at once. A
scraper is the best tool for cleaning the glass
surface. It is not supplied with the appliance.
Place a scraper on the hob surface at an
angle and remove residues by sliding the
blade over the surface. Clean the appliance

What to do if...
Problem
You cannot switch on the
appliance or operate it.
Residual heat indicator is
not displaying anything.
There is no signal when
you touch panel symbols.
Possible cause
The appliance is not connec‐
ted to an electrical supply or
it is connected incorrectly.
More than 10 seconds
passed since you switched
on the appliance.
Child Lock or Lock is on
Several symbols on the con‐
trol panel were touched at
the same time.
There is water or fat stains
on the control panel.
The cooking zone was only
on for a short time and is
therefore not hot.
The signals are deactivated.

Finally, wipe the glass surface dry with a
clean cloth.
Limescale rings, water rings, fat splashes, or
shiny metallic discolourations should be
removed after the appliance has cooled
down. Use only a specialised cleaner for
glass ceramic or stainless steel.
Check if the appliance is cor‐
rectly connected to the electri‐
cal supply. Ensure a correct in‐
stallation by calling an author‐
ised installer.
Switch on the appliance again.
Deactivate Child Lock. Refer to "

Touch only one symbol at a
time.
Clean the control panel and
wait for a few seconds before
switching on again.
If the cooking zone is supposed
to be hot, call the After Sales
Service.
