Installing the Indoor Unit

Condensate Connections Indoor Unit

The indoor unit is fitted with a short condensate drainpipe, which is a drain hose. (16mm external Diameter).

This hose must be extended to remove the condensate ((16mm internal Diameter water hose) leading to a

suitable drainage point. (Normally external). (Fig 1, 2 & 3)

Connect the extension hose to the drain hose in the unit, before installation of the indoor unit, check for

leeks.

Tape the extended drain hose to the umbilical line, for easier installation of the drain hose, remembering to

keep the drain hose to the bottom of the hole to allow the water to flow away from the indoor unit.

The condensate drain works via a gravity fall away from the unit, follow the instruction in the diagram below.
