1. Open both catches
and open up the Accu cover
2. Release retaining strap

3. Insert charging plug
in the charging socket
4. Insert the mains plug of the charger
in a mains power socket.
5. The Accu is being charged whilst

the red charging LED
charger is illuminated (this can take
up to 24 hours if the Accu is flat).
The charger can remain plugged in
to maintain the charge.
DANGER ! Cutting tool can cause injuries !
V Before rectifying faults, wait for the cutting tool to
stop, wear suitable work gloves and pull out the
safety key.
Possible cause
Safety key not inserted.
Charging plug of charger is
plugged into the charging socket.
Tab on Accu loose.
Blocked by foreign body.
Blocking protection activated.
(Red Error-LED flashes).
Accu charge too low for high
cutting load.
Screws on motor, its fixing or on v Check mower for loose

Blade damaged or blade

v Insert the safety key into the
socket.
v Unplug charging plug from
charging socket and insert
safety key.
v Open the cover and push
the tab receptacle onto the
tab.
1. Switch off mower.
2. Remove key.
3. Remove foreign body.
v Reduce load or charge
Accu.
components and tighten
these if necessary.
v Have blade tightened or
replaced by an authorised
specialist dealer or
GARDENA-Service.
v Clean mower (see
7. Maintenance). If this
does not rectify the fault,
contact GARDENA Service.
