has an electronic hardness setting with ten available settings - HO-H9.

1 Switch on machine using ON/OFF button
[J Press "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously. The multidisplay shows the level at
which it is currently set.
[J Set the water softening unit to the correct hardness setting. Use the table to
establish this setting for your water supply. Set using '+' or '-".
0 After setting the hardness level, wait until the indicator onthe display goes
out (appx. 20 seconds). Only then is the setting permanently stored to memory.
