T h e r e are high voltage electrodes inside the product. Before you a c c e s s the inside of the
product, including for routine maintenance s u c h a s cleaning, m a k e sure you h a v e unplugged the
telephone line cord first ( M F C only) and then the power cord from the A C power outlet, a s well
a s any telephone ( R J - 1 1 ) ( M F C only) or Ethernet ( R J - 4 5 ) c a b l e s (Network models only) from
the product. Never push objects of any kind into this product through cabinet slots, since they
may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts.
