There are three zone object types for which you use Telnet commands—alias, zone,
and configuration. For these three object types, you can issue the following five
commands:
Create
Delete
Add
Remove
Show
The following subsections provide information about the steps to perform when exe-
cuting these commands. For more information and examples of the commands
themselves, see Chapter 4, "Zoning Commands."

To create a zoned fabric, perform the following steps:
1.
Map out the desired fabric configuration.
2.
Define the core aliases.
3.
Define the zones.
4.
Define the zone configuration and save it.
