Ensure that none of the following conditions exist:
● Ambient temperature is higher than the system specific ambient temperature.
● External airflow is obstructed.
● A power supply unit is removed or has failed.

Troubleshooting the PSU
If a PSU fails, check the following causes:
1. Locate the faulty PSU and determine the status of the LEDs. See
a. If the AC power input LED is off:
● Check the power cable and the power source into which the power supply is plugged.
● Connect another device to the power source to verify that the power source is working.
● Connect the cable to a different power source.
● Replace the power cable.
b. If the DC power output LED is off:
● Verify that the PSU is inserted properly.
● Reseat the power supply by removing and reinstalling it. See
NOTE:
○ The PSUs are hot-swappable. Leave the enclosure powered on when replacing a PSU.
○ When performing hot-plug operations, ensure that you follow all electrostatic and thermal guidelines.
○ After installing a PSU, allow several seconds for the enclosure to recognize the PSU and to determine if it is
working properly.
2. If the problem is not resolved, swap or replace the PSU with a known good PSU.

If an EMM fails, check the following causes:
1. Locate the faulty EMM and determine the status of the LEDs. See

a. If the EMM Status LED is blinking amber:
i.
Turn off the enclosure.
ii. Remove the EMM and verify that the pins on the EMM are not bent. See
NOTE:
Ensure that you follow all electrostatic and thermal guidelines. It ensures that system functions properly
and prevents bodily injury to the operating person.
iii. Reinstall the EMM and wait for 30 seconds. See
iv. Turn on the enclosure.
v. Check the EMM Status LED.
b. If the EMM Status LED is still blinking amber:
● Download the latest firmware version from
supported firmware version.
2. If the problem is not resolved, swap or replace the EMM with a known good EMM.
