Replacing Rack Rails
Rack rails are used to install SC200 and SC220 enclosures into a rack.
Note: This procedure contains high-level steps. For detailed instructions, see
Rack Installation Instructions at
md1220/en/index.htm.
Use this procedure to replace rack rails.
1 Shut down the controller(s) and enclosure(s) as described on
2 Remove the enclosure from the rack rails.
3 Remove the rack rails from the rack.
4 Install the replacement rack rails in the rack.
5 Install the enclosure in the rack rails.
6 Start up the controller(s) and enclosure(s) as described on
Dell Compellent
