TROUBLESHOOTING FAQ
- Problem: Brush head plastic hits my teeth.
- Solution:
You are not using the brush according to instructions. Please review the
instructional video on our web site at:
www.30secondsmile/demo, for step-by-step brushing instructions.
- Problem: Brush won't operate.
- Solution:
Charge the brush on the Charging Base for at least 12 hours.
- Problem: My gums are sore after using the 30 Second Smile
- Solution:
Some soreness is normal as the toothbrush is reaching areas not
previously reached. Continue using the 30 Second Smile
but be sure to use the RED-ULTRA SOFT bristled brush heads on
low speed for the first several weeks.
- Problem: My gums are bleeding.
- Solution:
Make sure you are using the RED-bristled ultra soft brush heads. If not,
switch to it immediately. If you are, please note that your 30 Second
Smile
toothbrush is self-positioning and brushes areas that have been
®
missed with other toothbrushes. Some bleeding during the first 3-5 days
of use is normal. If bleeding continues for more than 1 week, stop using
and contact customer service.
- Problem: Metal pins at the end of handle are not even.
- Solution:
The tips of the metal pins are never aligned. Depending on where the
brush starts/stops, one pin will always be longer than the other.
- Problem: Brush head falls off.
- Solution:
Push brushes all the way onto the metal pins until you feel and hear
a "snap."
- Problem: I cannot remove brush heads.
- Solution:
Depress the release button on brush heads. Firmly tug on the brush
head to completely remove. To avoid this problem in the future,
remove brush heads weekly and clean the metal pins, including
the small groove.
NOTE: Do not use 30 Second Smile in shower, and do not clean handle with running
water. Handle is water resistant but not water-proof.
