Changing a lamp

The lamps should be replaced with a

lamp of the same type:

Manufacturer ............................... EGLO

Lamp type .................................... GU10

Specification................................ 11427

Wattage ........................................... 3 W

These lamps are available from Miele or

from specialist retailers.

 Switch off the fan and the lighting.

Note that lamps become very hot

when in use.

They can cause burns even after be-

ing switched off for some time.

Allow the lamps to cool down for a

few minutes before changing them.

 Disconnect the cooker hood from the

mains electrical supply (see "Warning

and Safety instructions").

 Insert the lever supplied into the gap

between the lamp and the lamp

holder.

The lamp will then drop downwards.

 Grip the lamp, turn it anti-clockwise

and take it out.

 Screw the new lamp into the socket

and push it upwards. Please follow

the manufacturer's safety instruc-

tions.
