Safety cut-off
The gas cooktop is equipped with a
thermoelectric safety ignition. In other
words, if the gas flame goes out ( e. g.,
because of overflowing food or a draft),
the gas supply is interrupted.
^ To switch the flame back on again,
turn the control knob right to "Off"
then switch the burner on as usual.
The safety cut-off is independent of the
power supply. In other words, it
remains in effect even if there is a
power failure.
