RELIEVE ALL PRESSURE IN THE LINE BEFORE SERVICING FILTER ASSEMBLY
1) Follow all company/OSHA safety rules, such as wearing protective goggles and gloves, etc.
2) Remove indicator body from head being careful not to lose any of the indicator assembly parts when
pressure on spring is released.
3) Examine all of the indicator assembly components for damage or wear. If any components need
replacement, contact the factory for the appropriate replacement parts.
4) For proper indicator function, the differential pressure channels from the in & out ports must be free of
debris. If necessary use compressed air to blow any debris out of the channels.
G8600 Visual Indicator
5) When reinstalling the visual indicator assembly into the filter head be sure to install all components per
the appropriate assembly drawing. All o-ring seals need to be lubricated with appropriate lubrication prior
to assembly. Acceptable lubricants include petroleum jelly or silicone.
6) Torque indicator to 40 ft-lbs. Check for proper seating to head with a shim gauge.

5) When reinstalling the visual indicator assembly into the filter head be sure to install all components per
the appropriate assembly drawing. All o-ring seals need to be lubricated with appropriate lubrication prior
to assembly. Acceptable lubricants include petroleum jelly or silicone.
6) Torque indicator to 40 ft-lbs. Check for proper seating to head with a shim gauge.
P8600 Electrical Indicator
5) When reinstalling the electrical indicator assembly into the filter head be sure to install all components
per the appropriate assembly drawing. All o-ring seals need to be lubricated with appropriate lubrication
prior to assembly. Acceptable lubricants include petroleum jelly or silicone. Also make sure to clean and
lubricate all threads.
6) Torque indicator to 40 ft-lbs. Check for proper seating to head with a shim gauge.
