Adjusting the hand strap
Adjust the hand strap to suit your hand.

Open the cover and adjust the length.

Close the cover.
• Make sure the cover is fully closed.
Attaching the shoulder strap
Attach the shoulder strap and use it as a precaution against dropping the camera-recorder.

• Turn the lens hood counterclockwise to detach it.

Attaching the lens hood
• With the face on the lens hood displaying the
guide pointing upward, align the guide with the
center of the camera and attach the lens hood.
• Turn the lens hood clockwise until it clicks to
secure it in position.
