ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Test Equipment Required

The following Test Equipments are required for
adjustment of the Video Imager WE-MV180A.

Video Signal Generator (S-Video signal, Composite Video
signal, Crosshatch signal, Stairstep signal and etc.)

Oscilloscope
8
Frequency Counter
8
Digital Voltmeter
8
Vectorscope
8
Underscanned Colour Video Monitor
8
S-Video Cable
8
Composite Video Cable
8
Ceramic Screwdriver
8
Colour Chip Chart (Part Number: YWV2100RB98)

Make an Extension Cable as follows:
Cut a regular S-Video Cable as short as possible.
Solder three Alligator Clips (one for Y signal, one for C
signal and the other one for both Ground) as shown in Fig.
1-1.

2. Disassembling Procedure for
Adjustment

Referring to Fig. 2-1, remove two screws that secure the
LCD Monitor Ass'y.
Note : Do not make any damage to the LCD Monitor
Ass'y.
Remove two screws.

Referring to Fig. 2-2, remove fourteen screws that secure
the Upper Cover and open the Upper Cover Ass'y.
Note : Use some cushion between the Bottom Cover
Ass'y and Upper Cover Ass'y free from damage.
Remove ten screws.
Remove four screws.
