Adjustment
6.1.
Gauge setting
27. 1. Clean Tapers and Face
28. 2. Move handle to the right stop (Position „0")
29. 3. Set Gauge in the master taper for calibration
30. 4. Press gauge on to the face of the tool taper. The taper is spring-loaded, so
some pressure must be applied.
31. 5. Move handle to the left stop (Position „I") and set indicator to the deviation of
the certificate supplied with the gauge

Tool taper check
32. 1. Clean Tapers and Face
33. 2. Move handle to the right stop (Position „0")
34. 3. Press gauge on to the face of the tool taper. The taper is spring-loaded, so
some pressure must be applied.
35. 4. Move handle to the left stop (Position „I") and read the scale value
