Attaching the Body Mount
1. Remove the cap @ on the focusing block by hooking a pointed material
in the notch on the cap.
2. Loosen the dovetail mount clamping screw inside the cap of the focus-
ing cap by turning the provided Allen screwdriver two or three times (coun-
terclockwise).
3. Gently fit the dovetail mount ³ on the back of the body mount ² on the
focusing block into the dovetail mount.
# To prevent damaging the function, do not insert by tilting the modules
or force fit the mount dovetail.
4. When the dovetail has been fitted till the stop position, tighten the dovetail
mount screw firmly using the Allen screwdriver.
5. Place the cap @ on the original position.
Attaching the Lighting Head
1. Loosen the clamping screw @ on the body mount using the Allen screw-
driver.
2. Fit the slide dovetail ² on the lighting heat all the way until it is stopped.
3. Tighten the clamping screw firmly.
(NOTE) When the SZX-ZB9 zoom microscope body is in use, the
lighting head should be adjusted. (Page 16)
Attaching the Zoom Microscope Body
}Mount the zoom microscope body in the same way as mounting the
body mount. Note that the dovetail clamping screw (ƒ in Fig. 7) is located
on the left side panel.
Attaching the Coupling
1. Loosen the two screws (Š in Fig. 8) clamping the left zoom knob of the
zoom microscope from its left side using the provided Allen wrench (small),
and pull out the knob so that the knob axis @ is visible.
2. Fit the coupling ³ by aligning it with both axes ² and @ on the body
mount.
3. Tighten the two clamping screws | using the Allen screwdriver.
