NOTE:
• Only connect to rated current >=10 A and do not connect other electric units to the same power
point�
• Hold by the handle�
• The BBQ or charcoal container must be placed on a level and stable surface�
• Place the electric lighter on the charcoal�
• Do not push the electric lighter down into the charcoal further than the MAX� mark

Position the electric lighter so that the heating element is in touch with the charcoal and
connect it to a power socket� The charcoal ignites in 10 to 15 minutes�

Unplug the electric lighter once the charcoal is lit� Remove the electric lighter from the
charcoal and return to the holder to cool�
NOTE:
• Only qualified service personnel may replace damaged electricity cables�
• Never immerse the electric lighter in water or any other liquid�
• It is normal for the electric lighter's surface to oxidise after an extended period of use�
CLEANING
• Unplug the electric lighter and allow it to cool before cleaning�
• Clean the outside of the electric lighter with a soft, damp cloth� Use a mild cleaning agent if the
electric lighter is very dirty� Do not use strong or corrosive cleaning agents�
