Number of Shapes to Cut
Cut 1—5-1/2" x 5-1/2" square of each color. Place on die.
Sub cut into 4—2" finished squares of each color. Total 8-
2" finished squares
Cut 1—5-1/2" x 18" rectangle of each color. Fanfold into 5-
1/2" widths. Sub cut into 12—2" finished squares of each
color. Total 24-2" finished squares.
Cut 1—5-3/4" x 5-3/4" square of each color. Place on die.
Sub cut into 4—4" finished squares of each color.
Cut 1—3-3/4" x 15" rectangle of each color. Fanfold into 3"
widths. Sub cut into 8—2" finished squares of each color.
Cut 1—5" x 10" rectangle of each color. Use the Cut & Flip
method. Cut and flip by placing fabric wrong side up and
align cut angle of fabric with angle of blades. Continue to
cut in this manner by flipping the fabric after each cut
across the length of fabric. Sub cut into 2—4" finished
triangle in a square Center of each color.
Cut 1—3-1/4" x 11" rectangle of each color. Fanfold into 5"
widths. Sub cut into 2 & 2 Reversed—4" finished triangle in
a square Side Triangles of each color.
Cut 3—2-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strips. Sub cut into
12—2-1/2" x 8-1/2" (2"x 8" finished) sashing rectangles.
Cut 1—2-1/2" x WOF strip. Sub cut into 9—2-1/2" (2"
finished) cornerstone squares.
Cut 2—3-1/2" x WOF strips. Sub cut into 2—3-1/2" x 22-
1/2" (3" x 22" finished) word strips.
Cut 4—1-1/2" x WOF strips. Sub cut into 4—1-1/2" x 22-
1/2" (1" x 22" finished) word strip borders.
