Declaration of conformity
The Creint professional grinders are in conformity with the
2006/42/EC
2014/30/EC
2014/35/EC
The grinder is standard equipped with a switch with no volt release.
The grinder has thermal overload protection.
Always wear safety spectacles.
Thank you for choosing Creint.
You will get many years of useful service from the machine. Read this manual, keep it and follow the
operating instructions. Creint grinders are for grinding of steel or equivalent materials. Needed tooling: a
spanner no 8 and 10.
Before starting
Check if all needed parts are packed in the box.
Check if the mains voltage corresponds to the
data on the machine plate. Always connect the
machine on an earthed mains voltage. Does the
machine operate on three-phase current? Ask a
electric technicial to connect. When unpacking,
the grinder is nearly ready for use.
Fix the spark arrestor with eye shields and the
grinding supports. Fix the spark arrestor as close
as possible to the grinding wheel. The maximum
distance is 2mm. Then fix the grinding support.
The maximum gap between the grinding support
and the grinding wheel is 2mm. The topside of
the grinding support is +/-3mm under the middle
of the grinding wheel. As a grinding wheel is
wearing, check the gap regularly and change the
wheels when the diameter of the grinding wheel
of 150mm gets <100mm and <134mm of a 200mm
grinding wheel. After any replacement, fix the nuts
carefully.
When using a Creint grinder on a work bench: first
remove the rubber buffers and fasten with wood
screws and retaining rings. When placing a Creint
grinder on a pedestal: remove the rubber buffer
and fasten to pedestal, and use a M6 bolt/nut.
Machines completed with a Creint steel wire brush
must be fixed on a workbench or pedestal.
When using a steel wire brush on the machine,

delete the grinding support to avoid that the work
piece can come between brush and support.
The best way to work
Allow the grinder to reach full speed before
starting grinding.
Work with a minimum of pressure of the tool
against the grinding wheel sothat the wheel can
do its metal removing work. Too much pressure
only results in less power supply and exta
motorheating by rubbing.
The duty is S2-60 which means running 30
minutses on load and then a cooling down on no
load.
Safety instructions
Follow the instructions in order to reach the best
result. Use an appropriate machine. The right one
for the activities to do. Wear safety spectacles.
Use a face or dust mask in case the operations
produce dust or flying chips. Connect the grinder
on an earthed mains voltage. Never run a grinder
without the wheel guard and wheel guard cover
fitted. Keep children away. Do not allow other
persons to touch the machine. Supervision is
required for those under 16 years of age. Keep
your work area clean. Consider work area
environment. Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. This can be caught in moving
parts. Tie long hair together. Do not expose electric
machines to humidity. Keep working area well lit.
Do not use electric machines in the precense of
