INSTALLATION
1.To ensure adequate ventilation for your refrigerator, it is
recommended to provide space of 6 cm on both sides and
at the back, and space of 30 cm above the refrigerator.
Insufficient spacing will decrease the cooling efficiency,
resulting in unnecessary consumption of electricity.

PURPOSE
2.Using the front Adjustable foot, ensure that the refrigera-
tor is positioned firmly and level on the floor.
3.In order to prevent possible electric
shock, install the grounding wire to the
earth wire connecting screw at the rear
of the refrigerator. (2 pin plug region)
NOTE:
• Keep your refrigerator out of direct sunlight.
• Do not place next to heat generating appliance.
• Do not place directly on the ground. Provide suitable stand.
DEFROSTING
The freezer compartment is required
defrosting operation. When frost
formed with the thickness of 5mm (as
thick as the defrost indicator), the
freezer compartment is required de-
frosting operation.
And water is discharged in the evapo-
rating pan provided above the com-
pressor, and evaporated by the com-
pressor heat.
1
PROCEDURE
1
Remove the ice cube tray and food from the freezer
compartment.
2
Push the defrosting button.
It is recommended to push the defrosting button be-
fore going to bed in order to complete the defrosting
overnight. When 5mm-thick frost builds on the evapo-
rator, defrosting would be complete in about 3-4 hours
(during summer). After completion of defrosting, cool-
ing operation starts automatically.

WHEN STOPPING DEFROSTING OPERATION
Turn the control knob to OFF position, and set the con-
trol knob to original position (example: Normal) to start
cooling operation.
NOTE:
1
Be sure to refrain from taking off the frost sticking to
the evaporator by using a gimlet or a knife.
2
If the thickness overs the defrost
indicator, defrosted water may
overflow the evaporating pan.
Pay due attention to this regard.
3
Be careful not to defrost when frozen food is stored
in the freezer compartment, otherwise it will thaw.
Therefore, it is recommended to perform defrosting
when no frozen food is stored.
