Adjust Headset Microphone Gain Level
Although you most likely don't need to, and are not recommended to, you
can make adjustments to the microphone gain level. Please note that this
adjustment is not meant to be a volume control, it is a gain level matching
between the headset and the console. Hence this should be set only once.
Again, make a call to someone, while you are talking, use the mic gain
adjustment tool supplied to slowly turn the (3) Mic Gain Adjustment.

do not overturn if the mic
volume is still not enough.
Slowly and carefully turn the trimmer clockwise to increase the
microphone gain level. With this, the person you are calling should be able
to clear your louder.
If the level is too loud, or if you start to hear "squealing" sound, this means
that the microphone gain level has been set too high, and the noise is a
feedback sound with the headset speakers. Stop and turn the trimmer back
counter-clockwise to reduce gain level.
Again, you should be careful when making this adjustment, as the
!
feedback "squealing" sound at a high level can severely damage
your hearing as well as the headset.
