After you have added the phones to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, you
can complete the phone installation. You can install the phone or the user can install the phone. The

html, provides directions for assembling the phone and accessories and charging the battery.
Prior to using the phone to connect to the wireless LAN, you need to configure a network profile for the
phone. You can use the phone web pages to set up the network profile and other phone settings, or you
can configure the network profile using the menus on the phone.
If you use auto-registration that is part of Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, you
need to update the specific configuration information for the phone such as associating the phone with
a user, changing the softkey template, or directory number (DN).
