Part II. Power Status: Different lighting condition of the LED display shows respective current power level of the battery:
Reminder: Do not exhaust the battery. Recharge before power is completely consumed.
LED lights on the battery display the charged level by measure the output voltage of the battery, so it is not very accurate unless each battery is
individually calibrated. Sometime, the 4th LED will never lights up even the battery is 99% charged. You can tell whether the battery is fully
charged by the LED light on the AC charger: the LED on AC charge will turn to green when the battery is fully charged.
2. Set DC Output Voltage:
notebook DC power input requirement. It is the same as the DC output voltage of your device AC power adapter or your device
input voltage.
Step 1a: Refer to the label on AC adapter for your notebook -
to check the "Output Voltage"
Step 2:
Select an output voltage, push the button to 16V or 19V, which
closes to the power input requirement of your notebook. 16V
output is compatible with a 15-17V notebook; and 19V is
compatible with 18V-20V.
3. Select right tips: Included with the battery are different connector tips and an output cable (Z6
Power Cable). One end of the output cable connects to the battery output port. The Z6 output
cable may fit a lot of laptops directly without a connector tip. If the output cable does not fit
your laptop, find the connector tip that fits your laptop first. With the connector tip not connected
to the output cable, locate the correct connector tip by fitting it into the DC Jack of your laptop. The
connector tip should fit snugly.
Note: C15, C21 ( or C22) and C24 tips look very similar, but they are for different laptops. C15 is mainly for
IBM/Lenovo laptops, C21 (or C22) is for Dell laptops and C24 is for HP Compaq laptops.
