SPECIFICATIONS

Durability

Item

Vibration

Only endurance conditioning by a frequency

sweep shall be made.

The entire frequency range, from 10Hz to 55Hz

and return to 10Hz shall be transversed in 1 min

with an amplitude (total excursion) of 1.5mm.

This vibration shall be applied for a period of

2h in each of 3 mutually perpendicular axes

(a total of 6h).

Refer to IEC Pub. 68-2-6 for other procedures.

Shock

Peak acceleration : 40G

Duration of pulse : 6ms

Three successive shocks shall be applied in both

directions of 3 mutually perpendicular axes

(a total of 18 shocks).

Refer to IEC Pub. 68-2-27 for other procedures.

Cold

The specimen shall be stored at a temperature

of -25±3˚C for 6h and then subjected to

standard atmospheric conditions for 1h.

After this procedure, measurements shall be made.

Refer to IEC Pub. 68-2-1 Test Ab for other

procedures.

Dry heat

The specimen shall be stored at 85±2˚C for 6h

and then subjected to standard atmospheric

conditions for 1h.

After this procedure, measurements shall be made.

Refer to IEC Pub. 68-2-1 Test Bb for other

procedures.

Damp heat

The specimen shall be stored at 40±2˚C and

a relative humidity of 90% to 95% for 96 +4h

and then subjected to standard atmospheric

conditions for 1h.

After this procedure, measurements shall be mode.

Refer to IEC Pub. 68-2-3 for other procedures.

Change of

The specimen shall be subjected to 5 continuous

temperature

cycles, each as shown in the table below.

Following the final cycle, the specimen shall be

stored at standard atmospheric condition for

1h, after which measurements shall be made.

NOTE : This data is based on the board each.

In assembled, the data on Shock, Vibration are to be changed according to the housing.
