Sound Adjustment
Adjusting the sound
Press GROOVE.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
GROOVE ON t V-GROOVE ON t
GROOVE OFF
GROOVE: The volume switches to power
mode and the equalizer curve changes.
V-GROOVE: The volume switches to power
mode, the lower bass frequencies of the sound
you are listening to is powerfully reinforced,
and the equalizer curve changes.
Selecting the preset
effect file
Press one of the DSP buttons (MUSIC
MODE, MOVIE MODE, GAME MODE, or
TOOL MODE) repeatedly to select the
preset effect you want.
The preset effect name appears in the display.
See "Sound effect options" below.
To cancel
Press EFFECT (or EFFECT ON/OFF on the
remote) to select "EFFECT OFF". All the
parameters become flat.
Sound effect options
You can enjoy surround sound simply by
selecting one of the preset effect according to
the program you want to listen to.

characteristics of Sony Pictures Entertainment's
mixing studio which is one of the most up-to-date
facilities in Hollywood.
CINEMA STUDIO C: Reproduces the sound
characteristics of Sony Pictures Entertainment's
BGM recording studio.

Before operation, first select the audio effect
you want for your basic sound.

Each time you press the button, the display

DSP EDIT* (to adjust DSP) t EQ EDIT
(to adjust equalizer)
* This menu does not appear depending on the
audio effect.
