No USB device is connected or the
connected USB device has been stopped.
NO DISC
There is no disc in the player, or you have
loaded a disc that cannot be played.
NO STEP
All of the programmed tracks have been
erased.
NO TAB
(MHC-ECT/ECT/ECT only)
You cannnot record the tape because the
tab has been removed from the tape.
NO TRACK
Playable file on the USB device is not
loaded in the system.
NOT USED
You tried to perform a specific operation
under conditions where that operation is
prohibited.
OVER
You have reached the end of the disc
while pressing  during playback or
pause.
OVER CURRENT
An over current from the
was detected.
PROTECT
The following causes can be considered:
 The voltage selector may not be set to
the correct local power line voltage.
 Speaker cords may be short-circuited.
 The ventilation holes may be blocked.
See "If "PROTECT" appears on the
display" (page 27) to check what to do if
this message appears.
PUSH SELECT
You tried to set the clock or timer during
timer operation.
PUSH STOP
You have pressed the buttons whose
operation is only possible when playback
is stopped.
READING
 The system is reading information
of the disc. Some buttons are not
available.
 The system is recognizing the USB
device.
REMOVED
The USB device has been removed.
SET CLOCK
You tried to select the timer when the
(USB) port
clock is not set.
