Tare or Zero Function

The zero / tare function allows you to weigh loads consecutively without removing the

previous load. Simply place the first load on the scale and get the weight reading. Press

the

button to reset the scale to "0" on the LCD screen before adding your next

load. You can continue to repeat this process.

Example 1: "TARE" function

When total sum of all loads on the scale is > 0g

Place your items on the scale and then the

LCD display will show the weight of the food.

To add another item press the

"TARE" the weight of the previous item. The

screen will show "----" then "0" meaning the

tare function has been activated. "----" means

the scale is not stable and to place on a flat

non vibrating or moving surface. Then place

the next item on the scale. When "0g" and the

icon "T" on lower left corner show together,

is means the tare function is active. Weight

overload is reduced every time the above step

is repeated.

Example 2: "ZERO" function

When total sum of all loads on the scale is < 0g

Removing loads when using the tare function

multiple times causes the scale to go into a

negative weight. To "ZERO" the scale simply

press the

button.
