Dimplex AC45N Instruction
1. Air inlet or outlet grilles are obstructed.
2. Internal ventilation is impaired due to build up of dust and
fluff.
3. Blower unit stalls.

NOTE: If the cut-out operates, the fan may continue to
run impairing the performance of the heater. If this occurs,
turn off unit immediately and follow the reset procedure be-
low.
Procedure for resetting cut-out
1. Disconnect power supply.
2. Determine what has caused the cut-out to operate and
rectify.
CAUTION:This should only be undertaken by a qualified
electrician with experience of repairing electrical appliances
and in full knowledge of the possible hazards involved.
3. After a short period of time (allowing the heater to cool
down) the cut-out will reactivate allowing electrical sup-
ply to be returned to the heater thus permitting normal
operation.
Maintenance
W ARNING: Disconnect the heater from the main supply
before carrying out maintenance.
This product is designed to require no maintenance. If
operated in an extremely dusty environment it may however
be necessary to carefully brush clean the air-inlet grille from
time to time.
Recycling
At the end of the electrical products useful life it should not
be disposed of with household waste.
Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local
Authority or retailer for recycling advice in your country.
Cleaning
WARNING:ALWAYS DISCONNECT POWER SUPPLY
before cleaning the heater.
CAUTION:Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaning
powders or polish of any kind on the heater.
External appearance can be maintained by wiping
occasionally with a damp cloth; for stain removal, a weak
soap solution can be applied with a cloth and the surface
wiped dry. Care must be taken to avoid any moisture ingress
into the product.
Ensure that dust or fluff does not accumulate inside the
heater as this could lead to overheating of the element.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any fluff, which does
accumulate.

Warranty
The Manufacturer warrants the heating elements and components
of the enclosed product against any defect in material or
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. In
full satisfaction of any claims under this Warranty the Manufacturer
will repair or replace without charge, in its factory or in the field as it
alone may decide, any parts which in its opinion are defective.
The Manufacturer shall not be responsible for any transportation
or shipping costs in relation to such repair or replacement except
as specifically assumed by it. Misuse of this product or repairs by
persons other than the Manufacturer's authorized personnel without
the Manufacturer's written approval, will void this Warranty.
This Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties or conditions
whether express or implied including but not limited to those of
merchantability or fitness for purpose and shall constitute the sole
remedy of the Purchaser and the sole liability of the Manufacturer in
respect of the sale of the product, whether in the nature of breach or
breach of fundamental term, or of negligence or otherwise.
The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any special, indirect or
consequential damages or for any damages resulting from removal
or replacement of a heater subject to warranty claim without the
Manufacturer's authorization.
This Warranty is transferable by the original consumer purchaser
of the product. Any claims under this Warranty must be submitted
in writing to the Service Manager, Dimplex North America Ltd., 1367
Industrial Rd., Cambridge, Ontario N1R 7G8, Canada.
