1. Press the play/direction button (or the

display unit's FUNCTION button) and select

"TAPE."

2. Press the open/close button (4) and load a

recorded tape.

Side towards you

Be sure to insert the cassette in the direction shown.

Inserting the cassette backwards will cause a mal-

function or damage.

3. Press the open/close button to close the

tray.

4, Set the Dolby NR to the same position used

for recording.

Tapes recorded using Dolby noise reduction should

always be played back with the noise reduction

system turned ON. The NR system

is turned ON

and OFF alternately with each press of the button

as shown.
