Switching on and setting the clock
This system has a built-in clock,which needsto be set
to be able to use the timer features.

Press (b to switch on.
Press SYSTEM SETUP.
Press the 41 or I_ button until you see
TIMER in the display.
Press ENTER.
Press 41 or In,-until you see CLOCK ADJ in
the display.
Press ENTER.
'Ihe displa}showsa clock, with the hour blinking.
Use the • and •
buttons to set the hour,
then press ENTER.
Use the • and •
buttons to set the
minute, then press ENTER.

Setting up for surround sound
Youcau use this system right out of the box for
surround sound with just the default settings, lIowevet;

Setting the speaker distances
Press SYSTEM SETUP.
Press the 41 or I_ but-ton until you see
FRT. SP in the display.
Use
the •
and
• buttons to set the
distance from your main listening posi-
tion to the front speakers.
Ideally,}'out'listening position should be equidistaut
from the twofront speakers.
The default setting is 3m. Youcm_adjust lhe rmlge
from 0.3m to 9.0m in sleps of 0.3m.
