* Connect here when using only the T-J7 and/or FD-J7.
When using the T-J7 or FD-J7, be sure to connect here. You can then
use such functions as auto function and A:S.E.S. (Auto Synchro
Editing System).

OUT jack (only when using the FD-J7)
Connect to the CONTROL IN jack of a component bearing the Kil mark.
If you connect to another Pioneer component bearing the
mark,
remote control is possible by pointing the component's remote control
unit at the FD-J7 CD tuner and operating. This unit cannot receive
remote control signals.
@ LINE terminals (Other audio devices)
CONNECTING THE SPEAKERS
Connect a speaker system with an impedance level of 4 to 16 ohms.
1. Remove the vinyl insulation and twist the wire.
2. Unscrew
the terminal, and push the wire into the hole.
3. Tighten the terminal to fix the wire.
NOTE:
Make sure cord wires connected to the terminals do not stick out and
touch other wires. If this occurs, the component may malfunction.

CONNECTING INPUT/OUTPUT CORDS
Connect the white plug to the L (left) side, and the red plug to the R
(right) side. Be sure to insert the plugs securely.

CONNECTION OF A GRAPHIC EQUALIZER OR AN
AUDIO ADAPTOR
NOTE:
Remove the shorting bars only when connecting a graphic equalizer to
ADAPTOR terminals. Always keep the bars inserted while the terminals
are not in use, and take care not to lose them.

CONNECTING THE POWER CORD
If you use it in conjunction with the FD-J7 stereo CD tuner, connect
to the FD-J7's power outlet.
AC OUTLET (SWITCHED)
Power supplied through this outlet is turned on and off by the
amplifier's POWER switch. Total electrical power consumption of
connected equipment should not exceed 100 W.
NOTE:
© Do not connect appliances with high power consumption such
as heaters, irons, or television sets to the AC OUTLET
in order
to avoid overheating or fire risk.
¢ When using the T-J7 Double cassette deck, connect the T-/7's
power cord.
