TIMER RECORDING
(Use tuner for timer setting.)
This allows unattended recording of radio broadcasts and editing/record-
ing from a CD while asleep. Recording the playback of Deck i on Deck
lis possible.
CD timer recording uses A.S_E.S.
operation
© The timer mode is released after timer recording has been performed
once.
NOTE:
¢ Check to see that the cassette's accidental erasure prevention tabs
have not been removed.
* To prevent loud music reproduction while you are away, set the
volume to zero for timer recording, and select VOL-* as the timer
volume setting.

1. Insert the tape to be recorded in Deck If.
Timer recording begins in the forward direction (B®) so be careful
which way you put in the tape.

14. Press the timer REC switch (2).
15.If power is on, turn it off.

Press the CHECK switch (4) and then {within 5 seconds) press the timer
REC switch. The display will show sequentially the timer settings.

Confirm that
| is lit on the tuner display.
Timer recording ends after being performed once. However, since the
settings remain stored in memory, you can reactivate the timer by press-
ing the REC switch so that REC is fit again.
| About timer setting priority:
ON time:
REC timer takes top priority. If WAKE-UP
1 and WAKE
UP-2 are both at the same ON times, then WAKE-UP
1 has priority
OFF time:
REC timer takes top priority. Later time takes priority be-
tween WAKE-UP
1 and WAKE-UP 2, SLEEP TIMER
takes priority over WAKE-UP timer.
