OPTIMUM USE
OF'
SC-TOO
SELECTING OF INPUT CIRCUIT
Twokinds
of
input
circuit
are provided
in
the
prearnplifier;
one
is for
very
1ow
input
Level sources
(e.g.
rnagnetic cartridge
or
tape head),
and
the
other
is for
corn-
paratively high input level sources
(e.g.
tuner
or
AUX).
Since changingthe
circuits frornone to the other
only by one switch
is
not ideal
when
considering noise
trouble, the selector
switch (1)
is
provided
for this
rnodel
for
selecting low input
leve1
sources;
and
the lever
switch
(?), for
selecting high
inpul
'
level
sources.
These switches are used as {ollows.
When
the lever switch
(6)
is
set
upward, the switch
(1) becom-es
operative
for
low
input level sources,
and when
it is
set downward, switch (7) becornes operative,
dis
abling the switch
(
1
)
.
For
exarnple,
when trvo
different kinds of input
sources
(..g.
a
tuner
and a
record
player) are
to
be
used,
connect
the tuner to the switch (7)
and
the record player
to
the
switch(1)sothat
changing of
the input
circuits
can
be
easily
done
only
by
setting
the switch
(6) upward
or
downward.
