Removing the carriage motor assembly

1. Remove the screw A from the PCB.

2. Disconnect the leads at the soldered sections.

3. Lifting the PCB paying attention not to cut the PCB,

unscrew the three screws B to remove the carriage

motor assembly.

When removing the carriage motor assembly, be careful

not to hit the feed screw with the motor assembly.

Removing the tray motor assembly (Fig. 24,25.)

1. Unscrew the one screw M to remove the grease cover.

2. Remove one screw F.

3. Remove the poly-slider washer and remove the dual

gears.

4. Operate the front lever to move the stage mechanism to

the left end marking on the front lever. (This will be the

first stage.)

5. Remove one screw G.

6. Remove the flexible PCB of the motor.

7. Remove the tray motor assembly.

* Never turn the headless screw J. This screw has been

mounted to prevent the tray-motor shaft from rattling.

Removing the elevation motor assembly (Fig. 24)

1. Remove the connecting arm spring.

2. Unscrew the two screws H to remove the elevation

motor assembly.

* When mounting the elevation motor assy, be careful not

to damage its worm gear by bumping on the frame.
